I think we are turning into our parents. You know, Cause all my dad is about old muscle 67 camero n such. I figured cause those are the cars he grew up with. He says the new ( 80 up to 2002 ) are ugly. I think we like the way are cars are shown because we grew up with them. Of course there are a few exceptions but In my opinion cars are looking like $%^&. ( The engines are nice thou )

I know you guys feel. I am all about the early ninties cars. That is all I am ever going to wanna drive especially when I get older and can afford a supra or rx-7.

I'm definately in the same boat. I like cars from about 84-98 Those are my favorite styles. I get a lot of crap from people about liking cars like the 86 and the Gazelle, but they really are awesome imho.

I'm on the other side.  I do love the soul of 80's and 90's cars - I hated to see the Taurus-ization of the industry.  But while RWD 911 turbo's and Supras will always have a spot in my heart, some of the new stuff is just sick!  The new M3?  Z06?  new AWD 911?

I think it's just that I dislike mainstream cars and their boring designs.  The stand outs from the 80's were stand outs.  Ditto the 90s and beyond too.

Ok, for one thing, I never liked the taurus or anything even remotely similar. imho, the 240 was a car that stood out. Granted the 86 and the Gazelle were popular styles in the 80's, but there was still something about them that stood out.

Well, I think that the 97 up silvia is freaking beautiful so I gues I don't fall into this range. I thought that for the most part the 80's were the dark ages of automobiles... a huge let down after the early 70's late 60's.

Cuda's, Challengers Chargers, GTX, roadrunners, those were nice. I found out my dad raced a 1978 (or something) dodge Aero that was quad carbed, quad throttle boddied and spun to over 10K... freaking amazing little car... he did autoX and touring style racing with that stuff... amazing. I love engines... the outside or a car is easily changed.

You know I'm worried about this because I'm getting too acted to the 90 nineties cars. Because of that I must keep updating my taste. The problem is that there is allot of shitty cars out their &quot;hyndie&quot;. &nbsp; What happen to the Supras and the Rx-7's of the car world? In it's place we have civics,sentras,mr2s. I hope very much that Rx-8 will be as good as the Rx-7. That the new Supras don't suck ass. The biggest problem is that we have one of the most unique cars out in the USA. When have you see a compact RWD that is so cheap? Nissan doesn?t seem to be bringing the s15 anytime soon. How much longer before the s13 and s14 become extinct? They are already 3 years old. I'm planing to keep my car for a long time because I want to turn it into a race car. (SCCA). At least 4WD will take over soon GTR, EVO7 and the STI. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

im ok with AWD/4WD...as long as we dont drive f'ing FWD cars. FWD is just boring as ####.

i also am fond of hachis and gazelles and shit too, and still like alot of the improts made all the way up to the last couple years. i like the powerful, aggressive boxy look. thats why i say i like the r32 and r34 much better than the r33.

i dunno though, someone kids today are fond of cars from their fathers generation, like the old SS camaros and chevelles and shit
