rb25 mount talk

I have a situation here. I got some rb26 mounts on a forum to fit my s13. I was told they were rb25 mounts from McKinney but they were 26 mounts. Now I contacted McKinney but they said they couldn't swap them for me so I asked if there was a way for me to use those mounts with my motor. But they didn't understand what I was trying to Say to get at. So my question is. If I have rb26 mounts for s13, and I have a rb25, could I get the rb26 block adapters from a 26 and bolt them onto my rb25 block? Will that work or no? Any help will be awesome. When I say block adapters I mean the part that bolts on eather side of the block witch attaches to the motor mounts. Thanks

The angles are different right? RB25/R33's have a flatter mount plate vs the RB26/RB20 angles are sharper. I'm not 100% if it would work but I'd try to get some RB26 engine mount brackets (the metal brackets that bolt to the engine).

Yea they are at like a 45 degree Angel. The 26. The 25 are almost flat

Try to get some RB26 or RB20 engine brackets, they have the sharper angles. Check Raw brokerage, they usually have brackets for sale. Or you can alway get RB25 mounts.

I have Mckinney mounts on my RB25 and honestly, go with something else. I'm not a fan of using the stock crossmember and having metal plates supporting a 450lbs engine on it. Go R-chassis crossmember and get custom DP and elbows, better yet, Syko Mounts.

I had the McKinney mounts on my old s13 with the rb25 last year but I sold it. I never had a problem with them at all. I just made my own down pipe and never had a issue. I would go with the syko setup but its more Money and I already have the mounts for the 26. Raw brokerage does have them but they want 200 for them I think that's kind of ridiculous

Why would he need R33 crossmembers? Wouldnt he need R32 crossmembers due to the difference in angles?
