Just an interesting video I found of an old Wagan crash of 2 R32's and a Z32 but what makes this video interesting is the use of the police cars.
When an accident occurs on Wangan a vehicle with a high top speed and a powerful engine is needed to get to the scene of the accident before the perpetrators can run away, or escape. These "promo" police cars are taken out of a special garage, and thrown into the scene of an accident, both to be the first ones on scene, and to treat any injured that may be there. They have a full serve First Aid/Paramedic kit in all of their trunks, and the glass that you see on the hoods of them is there to specifically push off any birds/crap that might hit the windshield when achieving 250+km/h. As you can see in the photo above, there are hinges so that it pushes itself back should that occur.
Here is an video of one of the old "supercars" (an FC TurboII RX-7) being used for a Wangan Accident, in this very old video from 1995. Jump to 2:13 in the video, if you want to avoid all the dead people and stuff.

Now i'm used to seeing race vidoes but not crash video's as much so this was very interesting to me to see how they operate as well as just something different I guess...
But just remeember be safe when your driving out there!
