Kade Popping/missing at idle.

So i have a s13 with a ka24de, and First and foremost i have a pretty high idle (like around 2k) also it pops and misfires a bit at idle. it clears up when driving however. i just did the plugs, plug wires, cap and rotor, and coolant temp sensor btw. well it was bogging/breaking up at high rpms so i played with the ignition timing a bit and advancing it got rid of that issue. how ever im still getting the popping at idle (actually a bit worse now, big surprise lol) and the high idle i still cant figure out.. any insight?

you could have a bad knock sensor wich caused it to pop and break up at high idel, when you advanced it , what you did was take the timing close to what high rpm timing is , so your high idel could be your to advanced for idel
check for ecm codes and reset them , check to see if one of them is knock sensor , if so replace it and plug everything back and set timing to factory you should be good
also high rpm can be caused by vacuum leak, that can also cause popping and breaking up

Thanks ill be be sure to check that. it had the high idle before all this started though.
