I used to have a turbo timer installed and had spliced the wires into the ignition. That timer went bad and I just recently got another. I didn't label the two ign wires so I was testing them with the key on accessory. One of them grounded out against a metal plate on accident.

Everything went off. I checked and the only fuse I found blown was the green 30A ign fuse in the engine compartment. Replaced that and now the engine turns over but no dash lights come on, the ecu has no power, and the fuel pump doesn't prime.

What I've checked:

I put in a known good ecu. Nothing
Checked every single fuse in the car. Nothing
Changed all 7 relays in the drivers side kick panel and the one on the passenger side. Nothing

What do I need to look for? I would think with all the relays and fuses in place no serious damage could take place, but that's what it's looking like. This is my only vehicle atm, please help!

have you checked all of the fuses throughout the car?

Yeah, when I said every fuse in the car, that's what I meant. Both fuse boxes

Switch is fine. It gets power and in acc every wires besides the ground and start signal get 12v.

Edit:

This doesn't make sense, or my memory is shit.

The two wires coming off the igntion needed for a turbo timer. I connected the two I have coming off together and it starts and runs fine. But why?

Keep in mind I'm dealing with food poisoning, so if the answer is obvious blame it on me living in Florida

Delete this, this is embarrassing. The two wires come off one wire to the igntion. The timer obviously interrupts this. But cutting the two wires I had spliced in I was killing the connection to the igntion. Connect the two together and it's fine. God damnit
