Yea I've been thinking about it, but I got a good deal on it and its hard to find one in STL. If anyone has a 240 or knows someone that has one in STL, with a blown motor PM me.

my friends car looked way worse then that, and he had it fixed cost like 2gs but when he got it back it looked brand new. it was a civic tho he got tboned wasnt his fault. Iono its value is up to you, if you have hookups u could try to get it fixed but its up to you

that is what i was thinking....^^

the only thing that would worry me is the rear...

the rest is rather simple...pick up a door for $100, some fenders for $50 a piece...etc etc...

tough call...

Looks like there might be some frame damage. I'd give it up.

I might have to get a new hatch also, and thanks for the suggestions. Oh and it also was hit by a semi when it was wrecked, going about 40-50mph.

Most 240's that I find around here are $2800-$4000....and automatic. So I was thinking if it cost about the same amount that I could buy another one for, I would be happy with new paint, and it would look sorta new.

forget it. rear quarter panels are bank especially since this one is completely gone. U have to cut the old one off and get a new one and thats expensive. U could use it as a parts car if its really cheap or something. Id say its a lost cause to fix it.

FIX IT!!!!! make it better than before, buy wide body fiber glass fenders, for front and back.....and just replace the front of coarse, and band out the back dent, but it doenst have to be perfectly smooth, and put the widebody fender over it and foam inject it:) just make sure the frame isnt fucked

Are you kidding? Scrap that. I've seen WAY better S13s rolling around up here near Chicago that would make a MUCH better project car. That thing is done. You just need to widen your search and get something else. You'll find one if you look further than your 15 mile radius.

I would just rock it as is as a daily driver. Body damage is cool!

But yeah, not worth it to repair.

yeah it will cost money just to have the frame checked out. and then you'll have to check what suspension parts got bent out of shape.

but that cars not worth it. its too old to dump money into to just make it look decent. part it out

thanks for the suggestions!!! I'm probably gonna sell some parts and get a s13 shell, that way i'll just drop in the motor. Grr......what makes me mad is that when it was wrecked, I just got done paying it off. :bash:
