I am looking for ways to increase headroom in my s13. I am 6'4" by the way. It has the factory power sliding sunroof. Id like to keep the sunroof glass not worried about opening it. Now i saw a thread awhile ago where someone made a bracket for both sides that eliminated the motor an slider assembly and kept the glass sealed up in normal location. But now i cant find that thread anywhere. Any other info on this

You can always remove the sunroof entirely. Get a roofskin from a hardtop coupe and replace your current roofskin / sunroof assembly. Then you can use a hardtop headliner and it'll look like factory.
Lower seats are an option too.

If you want to do some fab work and keep your sunroof, you can cut the the hump out where the cat goes. Then make your own flat section and mounting locations. And build a fixed rail because the slider just adds height. I don't know how tall you are but this is what we do to fit haha.

Aren't bucket style racing seats lower than factory seats? Maybe get some of those?

Do the seat thing first, then move on to the harder things like floor pan and sun roof, you may gain more then you think off the seat.
Or you could just get a convertible coupe and have infinite head room :p
