SR tranny troubles

hey guys i have a slight problem with my sr transmission and i need some advise. alright so here is the problem, i haven't driven my car in like 6 months and the transmission has not had transmission oil for like the past 5 months. can that stiffen up the gear box and cause the tranny not engage to a gear?

-it only goes into 3rd
-shifter does not go side to side in the neutral position
-just plain stiff

my transmission was in perfect condition before i stopped driving it

Did you really had to start multiple threads?

So you parked it for 6 months with no oil in it? Did you put oil in there yet and tried to run it yet? Shit might just gunked up in there and running new oil might loosen it up. Toss fresh oil in there, drive it for a few miles, change the oil out. Do that atleast 2x.
