honda with nothing but body kits

ok   so i was reading a post and dcs mentioned that honda owners all start the mod list with body work and shit like that, well i do not want to be one of those people that rag on honda because there are a some (and by some i mean a shit load when it comes to hondas) people out there that do nothing to their cars and think they are bad ass and want to race everyone cause their car looks  DOPE, or BAD, or maybe um um um      i don't know you insert something,     ok but i was looking through a superstreet mag today and was checking out the readers rides, the special with like 50 cars in it and they were almost all hondas and acuras and almost all of them (maybe except one) all had wings, body kits, shocks, spring, coilovers, seatbelt pads, all that shit listed, and then under future mods they were all like         engie work and a turbo, or NOS,    then there was one s13 (thank god at least one) and it was one of the few cars that under mods had engine work, ignition, plug wires, turbo,    i mean real stuff and under future still had engine work and liek maybe a body kit (something like that)     anyway      just thought it was funny, i mean it sucks that these people are putting money out for all this shit and all they have are over mod cars that are not that quick (atleast i can smoke em with my car at the races and make em look bad in front of their girlfriends after they have been talking shit.

In my mind its ok to go for looks. Lets just say we all buy shoes for looks, does performance ever really come in mind? To some maybe, atheletes but I am just trying to say its ok if that what floats your boat you know' but when the try look at me hard like there body kit makes em run 10's that when you gotta put them back in there place. Oh yeah im 70% performance 30% looks, oh yeah but the super street thing im feelin you on that. Everytime I read there biggest upgrade is a 5ft wing or under "plan to add" they write " Im gonna get my hands on some dope alteeza lights" hahahah well just wanted to get that off my mind.

OK so hers a small list of the 40000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 00000 hondas that are out there that are all show no go, I mean the ratio to go vs show is horrible when it comes to honda...I have a 98 civic hatchback that is my commuter car, but i dont sit there and race everyone in the world...my thing is this I think some hondas look #### nice with kits and rims when there done right, but what bothers me is the ones that maybe have a good body kit and it looks nice and have a big 130mm exhaust and think that makes them fast, they know that the extra 200 pounds of body kit and rims is only going to slow down there car but somewhere they have it fixed that if it looks good its fast...

and the comment on the shoes, yea I buy shoes that look good but I dont go around looking for people with the newest nikes and say lets race in my kenneth cole boots <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

keepitmovin, I'm with you all the way! (Although I'm 25% looks and 75% performance)
There are some really sweet, fast hondas, but there are alot of people with only asthetics.
I have no problem with those types of people, as long as they don't think they have a faster car than everyone else.

see that's what i talkig about the ratio is totally off, i mean i have a friend down here that is runnign high 12's in is civic hatch and i knwo a few others that are quick also, but when it comes down to mods most of the hondas i have seen just look fast , and i am not against them having body kits either 9as long as it looks good) but every honda has the exhaust and the same combat style body kit, with either a big ass aluminium wing, a wing about 4 feet tall, or one that has three dif wings on one car &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;usually the same wing setup.
