I want to buy some strut bars for my 92 coupe, but when i go in the back, i dont see a way to get to the shocks mounts? how would i go about installing them on the coupe? all that interior crap is just in the way :(

yea, it sounds simple, yet not. have you ever looked inside the trunk of a coupe? there are no screws to take out the plastic linings nor anything. anyone???

ya pop out the caps. some bars require you to cut up the panel the little cover is attached to. Or just take it all out

If you want to keep the plastic lining, why not cut clean holes on both sides for the bar?

if you break the plugs just reattach the panels with some duct tape wads and goop.

Mine came out very easy and i agree that it looks a lot better with them out, but make sure you take things out of your trunk before you start fucking around, i slide like one corner, heard a loud thud and there was an nice outward dent in my rear fender.

Two options. I used to have an S13 coupe, i have seen rear strut bars installed two ways, one way is to obviously tear out all the lining in the trunk and throw the bar on there.... or option two which is what most people i know do, is they pull of the lining, cut a hole for the strut bar to go through on the lining of each side, the put the strut bar through each side, then after installing each side, slide the linings back onto the trunk walls.

have I ever looked inside of one?
um, check my sig dipshit I have a coupe with f/r strut bars. I bought it and put the strut bars in it like the first day I had it. Its probably the easiest thing I ever did to the car.
Not like the rear bar makes a noticeable difference anyway.
