s13 ka24e strange high temp and idle issues

I've been having some intermittent issues with my temp gauge and my idle. my problem is this, sometimes my temp gauge will begin to rise slowly up to pretty much the max temp and while that's happening the idle will slowly begin to rise up to anywhere from 1000-1500 rpm. it usually all settles back down to normal after about a minute or so and it will drive fine. sometimes those issues will happen independently from each and they never last more than a minute or two. any help would be appriecieted.

As temp rises so does rpm at idle. That's just how the ecu is programmed, no changing that. Tells you somewhere in the OEM FSM. If you're having high temp issues, check you cooling system. Coolant, radiator, thermostat, bleeding the system, etc.
