I was putting the pistons in the cylinder today, and due to having a crappy autozone rental ring compressor, one of the 2 oil rings at the bottom get bent up and is no good anymore. Luckily the cylinder wall is still ok. Where can I purchase just enough rings for ONE piston? I have Sealed Power rings, but it doesn't matter what brand since I just need that ONE oil ring.

youre fucking stupid dude
you just broke a oil ring cause you used cheap tools, and now you don't mind buying cheap parts for your engine? god dammit can't wait to see a thread asking why your motor blew...

summitracing has plenty
you can also most likely get one from an engine builder.

I love when you talk, chiboy. It gets me a chubby.

It's a stock ka. I need one oil ring. I never said I want a used crappy one. I want to know where I can purchase piston rings for one piston's worth of rings. Everywhere I look, I find a full set for a whole engine. I don't need that.

Just use an old one, if you are to poor to buy another set... it not like that is providing any compression.

Also I have built many motors using the OEM brand piston ring compressor, which is what autozone sells and loans. I have NEVER had an issue from it, I did buy mine new and I am the only one who has used it. Kinda hard to fuck up making that tool.
