What color wheels?

I am having my stock 16's powdercoated. What color, I am leaning towards either white or a slightly darker gray than stock. Either way, we are going to try and powdercoat the lip a candy blue.

I have brand new tires for them and i get powdercoating done for cost, which is almost free. It helps when you have friends in the business.

I'd go with lime green. I feel that will be the next hot trend. Go do it before everybody else does. Be a trendsetter.

Just about anything other than black is going to look weird with a blue edge (on a white car), otherwise I'd suggest doing the whole wheel in blue.

I will probley go with the dark gray with blue lip. If it looks like crap, we can re-do the lip in a few mins.

yeah they should look good in gunmetal ... everyone and their mom repaints their stock wheels gunmetal tho. I'd go bronze.

It is played out. I miss my 200sx with bbdet swap. It seems like everyone is wanting/doing the 240/sr swap.

What's wrong with the stock 16's? 16" wheels are a good size for the car. 18's are a waste because the sidewall will be so small it wount allow enought flex. Thats just my opinion. I think 18's look good on a s14, but not for performance.

Nobody said anything about getting a different size wheels. Your topic was about what color you sould paint your wheels, anyway it is your car so you could do what ever you want to do with it. I just wanted to show you that after painting my Z wheel stock color and it looked just like new.

Its cool. I am one of the few people who actually like the stock wheels look. I am sure we will do gunmetal. Ill post pics when its done.

Does anyone have a spare set of lowering springs they could hook me up with ;)
