Here is my problem.
I am unable to determine the amount of fuel in my tank. I bought my 240 not running. All it needed was a fuel pump and fan. I heave it for a few days now it is back up and running. My fuel guage is not working due to, I'm guessing no fuel level sensor I believe. I have been looking around but unable to find one. Nissan is only selling the wiring harness for the tank. I don't think I need all that.
I want to know if anyone out there has the piece I need or know where I can find one. I have a 95 240,so please if you can help or point me in the right direction that would be great!

The fuel sensor is a mechanical unit, part of the fuel pump assembly. Get the fuel pump assembly out and see for yourself if the sensor is there or not ...

I had the baffle in my fuel tank break off and jam my fuel float at a half tank. So pull the pump and check your tank. If not that your best bet is go to the junkyard and pull another fuel pump assembly. You might get lucky and find a Walboro hiding in there. GL

I been to a couple yards around here an there are no 240s around. They are very scarce but I will continue to keep looking
Thanks

The floats (part that tells the gauge how much fuel there is) in the 95 s14s are known for coming off/not working after spirited driving. This is probably what is causing your problem. Nissan was aware of this and fixed the issue for the 96-98 model years so if you can find one of those in the junkyard take the assembly from it.
Back when I had my 95 I got so tired of fixing it I just left it. I wouldn't worry too much about fixing it if you plan to drive the car hard since it is just going to happen again. Its annoying but you can use the trip gauge to get an idea of how much fuel you have.

Thanks. I will keep searching the junkyards but until then I guess I'll use the trip gauge like you said
