hello everyone, before everyone gets upset, yes i searched, ive searched a bunch of forums and threads for a couple of weeks now

basics-names andrew. i have a 91 s13 coupe with a dual cam. auto chassis with a 5 speed swap. car has fuel but no spark

after my front end accident i bought a koyo radiator and didnt realize that that bung or whatever where the cap goes was damaged, well the cap popped off and shot coolant all over the bay and i think i fried my ecu and distributor.

did some testing, found out i had no spark but i have fuel. tested for fuel by unplugging the line and putting it in a bottle while i cranked. filled up a beer bottle quick.
next i unplugged the coil wire at the ignition coil and cranked, no spark, not even a weak one, checked timing, set everything to tdc, set the rotor to right before cylinder 1
ive bought brand new ignition coil, new ignition chip, an ecu from a running car, distributor from a running car, got an oem radiator from my parts car, and a brand new battery.
still no luck, just cranks and cranks and no spark. checked plugs, i dont think theyre getting fuel. what else can it be? i was thinking i need to change the capacitor at the distributor, but i cant think of what else it can be. relays? all fuses checked out, help please!! i want to fix this so i can start working on my 86 again, anyh help is much appreciated

forgot to add, i have a brand new cap and rotor as well, i might still have my voltmeter to check voltage tomorrow.

update-i tried a second ignition harness, i pulled the cap and rotor off to make sure the distributor was spinning, took off the spark plug and put the wire back in and cranked to make sure it had compression and it flew off when i cranked it, swapped my efi and fuel pump relays both seem fine. i did a diagnostic check on the ecu and it gave code 55 for all good, any ideas anyone?

ok i have spark now, the harness plug on my cas was broken in my accident and i swapped pins when i was wrapping them in electrical tape a while back. put pins in proper order and spun the cas wheel and im getting spark to both the ignition coil and also to the cas. took my injector rail out to test injectors. fuel pump primes but injectors arent clicking or spraying. ran a ground and power to the harness and it sprayed

is this gonna be a relay issue or is it gonna be from the ecu? any other ideas you guys can give me, maybe run a power and ground to all wires and run it to a toggle switch

this is for a 91 240sx with ka24de
ecu controls the ground so you could check ohms between the injector signal output and the injector plug (the negitive side) and see if its an open circuit..... if not possibly the computer is bad

thanks, i understand that, and ive swapped ecus, im gonan check the relays and some wiring but i was thinking about grounding out the injectors and running a power to a toggle switch possibly or wiring up another relay or something

"but i was thinking about grounding out the injectors and running a power to a toggle switch" maybe I am not understanding
but you know the injectors are not getting constant power and ground when the cars is on.

yeah still kinda learning about that, they only run 80% or something right? im gonna try another good running ecu or test my ecus on another car. but if not i need to figure out a way to bypass the ecu and run my injectors, i have an inspection coming up middle of may now and i need it running or the city is gonna fine me -__-
