My current and last setup. Bc 91mmx90mm bore. Manley rods, cp pistons, tomei cams, 850cc injectors, aem, full race twin scroll, twin gates, great power and drive ability!

Looks nice! 300ft/lbs by 4500 is not too shabby, and the HX40 hasn't even woken up yet! Do you plan on running more boost pressure at some point?

Possibly later on. I made a high boost run at 22psi. It made 495 and i stopped there. Its plenty fast as it is though, traction is an issue once boost comes on. I would like to see what it does at 26-30psi later on with water injection.

I am running a twin scroll 12 cm housing that Tim's turbo made work on the hx40. It had a v band welded on with a t3 footprint, bolted up perfect and I love it the way this thing performs! Seriously guys look into these turbos, I have around 500 in mine. I sold my garret 3076r that was 1500 to go with this and it's a night and day difference. Holset all the way!

Fantastic results with the 12cm2 housing! Thanks for satisfying my curiosity! Hahahaha.

Any way we can get a better picture of the graph? Maybe a shot of the engine bay? What Tomei cams and what compression ratio?

i have a billet 7 blade hx40 going onto a vq30 and have the 17cm T4 and 16cm T3... was it a 12cm hx35 housing? because i have a 12cm and 14cm for a hx35 laying around too lol

Yes it's a 12cm HX35/H1C housing machined for an HX40 turbine. For your application you will want the 17cm T4 housing, you have too much displacement to run a small housing like 12cm2...

yea thats the plan...but on a side note the 16cm T3 and the 17cm T4 are very close in size and a person cant ever have to many options

I will soon sorry I know it's crappy for a dyno graph, I will post a better pic of that and also my high boost run as well. The cams are tomei 270's, i think the compression was 8:1 maybe less, i know my compression when tested was like 125-130 per cylinder.....so...... anyways i will post up the engine bay shot as well. Thanks for the positive response fellas, hit up Tim's turbos the guy is pretty damn smart about sizing for your engine/needs. I would think the 12cm is too small too for a vq swap as well but Tim might think different, he said this housing was enough to push these hx40's into the 600's if I wanted to go up that high, then again this was a sr too.

Here is the high boost and low, also the low. Sorry couldn't get a good pic of the engine I will when I have better light.

Rad... Going to be running an hx40r on my vvti 1jz, hope the spool is similar...
