I just installed some JIC FLT-A1s on my S14 and they are all great except that the front left one like to clunk when I am coming to or leaving from a stop. I assumed that it was the spring shifting in the seat and checked to see if it was loose at all, but it was just as tight as the others. Any suggestion on what else it could be, or if you think that is the problem what can I do to stop it, it is annoying.
The very top nut might not be torqued to specs, I had a problem similar tot his on my tein HE's on my s14, All i did was search and it was the infamous loose top most nut.

TORQUE!!!!!!!!!!!!! and make sure the shock body isn't spinning with it. It really could just be your springs adjusting doesn't ahve to be loose try turning the spring some maybe it will change the noise and you will know thats all it is. how loud is it?

It is loud enough to hear over my N1 on NA KA under decel, so fairly loud. If it is the springs shifting in the seats is there a way to quiet that down? I was thinking about ordering the Whiteline spring insulators from PDM.
