NOT trying to thread bash or anything but phobs just so you know that coupon code can only be used with your email and name as purchaser. TRUST ME...I've recently bought the black edition (Which is frriccckkkeenn sweet) using my coupon code that I got and it worked fine. Then had my dad forward me his coupon code with the intention of me buying it for his birthday and they declined it. GoPro's system automatically picks up that it is not the original recipient of email and will deny the sale....TRUST ME!! I've been through it already...Even talked to GoPro and its managers.

I just don't want the future buyer being screwed over and you losing an awesome deal...

Thanks for the heads up but I am still able to use the promotional code under a different name and email and get to the page where I can "submit" my order. I recently purchased the Silver edition and have no use for this coupon that they sent me. I agree though, the hero 3 is awesome!

No problem, but it will let you submit everything even take you to a thank you for your purchase page...but when the system processes the order it will deny it...like I said I ordered it last time and a week and a half later still was waiting for confirmation..nothing..they didn't even charge my card...so I called and that's when they told me everything..had to talk to the supervisor for about an hour and convince him that I was buying it for my dad..it can be done just a lot of work..
