Just wondering, I bought a s13 hatch shell and thinking about parting out so I can get an s14 most likely a zenki, whats the average profit you would think someone can make parting out their car?

A stock shell? Maybe $800
Usually part-outs are reserved for people with alot of money invested into their cars. You can't resell a highly modified car to make your money back, but if you re-sell it piece by piece you normally get more money out of it. If you're willing to wait for the right buyers and if that is you have nice parts that people actually want.

OP If you do end up parting out your car, be prepared as you'll also have a ton of bullshit random parts laying around that no one wants too lol.

You really need space and time to make it profitable.
Most 240 owners don't have either.

Profit is not how much money made from parting out a shell/car, it's how much you made after covering the cost of it. $800 isn't shit if you bought a shell for $500-600 give or take.
To much time and effort for little return. As previously said, it's wiser and more logical to part a car out that's had a lot put into it.
A stock car part out only makes sense if you either got it for free/dirt cheap or you tweaked the frame or some sort of damage that renders the car useless and you're last option to squeeze out any cash out of it is a part out before scrapping it. It's just such a waste of time.
