TINTING

I'm getting my windows tinted next saturday, i'd appreciate any input you can give me.  I think i'm going with 35% tint (just the normal black)  legal is 50%, but i think that'd be hardly noticable... what do you all think? and who has tinted windows that they like? my car is bluegreenish,... would a really dark tint look good?.. or should i keep it lighter..

Well if it's gonna be illegal you might as well go all out and get limo tint. If they actually had tint shops here I would get my car limo tinted. if i was black i could do it... but here i'd be laughed at.. only thugs r allowed to get their cars tinted like that.. &nbsp;sniff, the trials of being a loley white man.

i know a guy with a 5% all around and 20% on the front, looks really good on black car with carbon fibre hood and gunmetal wheels. legal here is 20% i believe, with 35% up front. i really love the all blacked out look, some people think its ghetto, but as long as your car is clean it can look pretty good. i dunno...as far as going below the limit, it just depends on the cops in your area. here the cops wont bug you about it unless you do something else to piss them off, and they cant think of much else to pick on you for. and of all the people i know with illegal tints, they've never had any trouble at inspection, either...guess just nobody cares about it here

when you say 20% on the front.. u mean the visor right? not the whole windshield correct? &nbsp;caus that would be insanely illegal.. n2mention dangerous..

no, he has whole windshield 20% with a 5% strip up top. its not that bad, until you try parking at night...then things begin to get nasty. oh well, i guess some people are just willing to make compromises to look good. like i said, hes never gotten hassled over it, and i dont know anyone else around here who has

if you have a wicked interior...i wouldn't put tint....you don't want to cover it up...

I think the legal around here is like 36% but several peeps around here got 5% all the way around and never get ne flack from the cops so im goin 15% all around looks just as good as 5% i think . still can't hardly c in the car. And the guy who does the tinting also has an accord like what ya were talkin about 5% all the way around and like 20% on the front windshield!! lol i don't c how he drives that thing at night. But neway he never gets hassled by the cops either.
