Im pretty sure all single cams have the metal plate kids. nothing special.

If you want to know your production number you just have to figure out how many were made of that model and subtract the last 5 of your vin.

It's funny, I was reading the first s13 built and I started getting happy, mine is an 89 champagne gold coupe, mine is manual, no sun roof and the not even close to my vin lol

This car is in Heber, Ca with only like 130k miles as of this year, was totaled and called a "junk" vehicle in the past
I think it was just sold to a new owner in January by the looks of the record, maybe it was on here??

The last s13 happens to have one of the weirdest histories I have ever seen. It was declared a lemon in 1996 with only 1,765 miles. It was then declared a total loss by insurance in 1998 with around 20,000 miles and seems to have then been acquired by a rental fleet (weird) shortly after. It was registered in 1998 but was not given a salvage title until 1999 (maybe something to do with Cali laws). The report just says junk vehicle on a report filed 12/29/00 but it was later re-registered on 12/01/04 in AZ. It then went through various owners until the last one bought it recently on 01/17/13. It appears to still be alive and driving around Herber, CA. Its a car that refuses to die lol.

As for the first s13, the vin that was posted comes back as invalid vin so it is either a digit short or there is no info on it.

What was the date of manufacture on the last S13? If 94 Verts were just converted 93s that would put all their DOM in 92 would it not? Or does ASC have the right to change that date when they get the car?

My car does not have the door jamb VIN, nor did it have any traces of a repaint or sticker residue when I got it. The previous owner said it did not have one when he bought the car, and the original owner was some old lady. I am not sure how it went missing.

Last 6 digits of VIN#. But the numbers were reset back to "000000" for '91 models.

I just checked it and apparently, what I bought as "around 120k miles" is actually around 220k miles, and also had a door damage back in 93 with a total of 8 owners including me.
