so i got a zenki to kouki conversion on my s14 and its been giving me problems ever since... first off...theres a huge gap between my headlights and my bumper.. and also between my headlights and my hood...its like a 2in gap...its fuggin ugly... so i took the front end apart and noticed that i had a zenki bumper support... so i decided to buy a kouki one and when it came and i tried 2 install it... for sum reason..it wouldnt fit..duznt match up with the bumper absorber now...wtfux is goin on... any1 that did a zenki to kouki conversion know wut else has to be changed in order for everything to fit right?... i really dont wana go to a shop to have them fix something that i should be ablt to do on my own.

you need a kouki bumper support along with the kouki impact absorber... and kouki bumper brackets.

And MasterOFtheD: Try your local Nissan dealer.

The Search button does wonders as well.

the space between the hood and the headlights should be filled by a rubber thing that clips onto the hood. go to parts.com and look for the 97 240sx hood components. it should list all the things you attach to your hood. should make it so that the hood is flush with the headlights.

i dont know about the headlight and bumper gap though. thats weird. maybe the fenders aren't lined up properly which is throwing off the lights? take some pictures and we can help better. otherwise, i have no idea cause i didn't have that problem.

just go to parts.com, go to nissan oem parts. there are many sites there that list their phone number. they all have comparable prices too...maybe a few dollars off from each other. get your hood and bumper components there.

????

I did the Kouki conversion and you pretty much need everything from the Kouki (97/98 240SX) looks like you need the stays and bumper bracket to go along with the bumper reinforcement. Also to get the headlights aligned perfectly...you can get the headlights brackets....but that requires some spot welding in order to install them.

BTW....if you buy parts in bulk (alot at once) http://www.nissan-auto-parts-dealer.com is a good site to buy from. So far I've bought many bits and pieces from that site.
