View Full Version : Blitz Dual SBC Cuts out

installed a used Blitz Dual SBC in my 94' Silvia the other day and it reads vac fine but as soon as it goes form reading vac to what would be boost it just shuts off, then when i let off the gas and it goes back to reading vac it comes on again.

This whole time the max it will give me is about .25 bar according to my boost gauge.

if i run open wastegate i get a full bar like i should

any insight?

SR20, stock T28 with chipped ECU & aftermarket Manifold & RB20MAF, Apexi intake, HKS frountmount, HKS SSQV BOV

I have a Blitz Dual SBC spec S, I never encountered the issue you're having but maybe we can get you sorted out.

Did you flip the switch on the back of the unit to suit your waste gate setup?
Can you duplicate the problem with compressed air, engine off, boost controller on of course?
Have you set the warning function to low maybe?
Does it store you max boost reading or does it reset when it shuts off?
Mine stores max boost when the car is turned off and I have to manually reset it every time.

Have you gone through the wiring? Maybe vibration is causing it to short and shut off.
