FYI the Camaro never came with a LS6.

Some 01/02 f-bodies came with the same block as the LS6 but LS1 everything else. They made the same power as the LS1 (both ls1 and ls6 are 5.7l with same bore and stroke) as they didn't have the LS6 cam, higher compression ratio, valves, oiling system, etc...

hey yea I built that car... with my buddy, its heads are stock cts-v ls6 heads not ported and polished, it has been smoked in(crack&cigs) and motor was damn near 180k before we installed the cam and heads,not rebuilt, just regasketed .. car was fast as hell and fun as we beat the shit out of it many nights wile drinking and what not. and jesus christ 15k. I say 11k at most. and what happened to the kouki side skirts, and leather seats that leather was so soft.:mepoke:
