96 240sx Power Windows/Sunroof not working

They tend to work if I pull the relay from the kick panel and plug it back in. Sometimes they work for a week straight but recently it has been more frequent.

Symptoms: All power windows and sunroof and defrost will not work. I assume they share the same relay.

I swapped out relays and the issue still occurs.

Fuses look good.


I looked at the FSM and I can not locate the M13 circuit breaker.

Any input? thanks

if not then its the 100a fusible link in the engine bay

bump....all windows still lock up...very frustrating

Time to whip out the factory service manual...

Try wiggling the connections where that relay is. If messing with it causes it to work, that seems the logical place to start.

well wiggling didnt work this time..I took the driver door apart and heard a small clicking from the window motor. I touched it and practically burned my fingers. talk about it being HOT. I wonder if the motor is bad or its getting too much current?
