i have an s14 with an s13 redtop. 3in downpipe, 2 1/2 incatback apexi n1. z32 maf and i am going to be installing an fp big 28 turbo this week. i will also be getting nismo 740cc injectors. i plan on running 15psi daily, and maybe 20 psi on occasion with higher octane gas. i want the blitz lm, but im wondering, with this setup and the greddy vspl, will i notice a difference in performance? is there a chance of over working the vspl?

I know the vspl isnt a tube-fin design (hence the low cost), but Enjuku's drag car (high 400hp i think) uses it. I have the HKS intercooler...
HKS>your life.

I would deffinitely take the blitz lm over the greddy, in fact I think im going to be getting the blitz lm. I was looking at a spearco core but I dont want to deal with making pipes. plus I still cant decide whether or not the ebay spearcos are real. some say yes some say no, and spearcos are pretty expensive but they are great. so yah pay the extra for the blitz lm.

Is there any real reasoning behind this? or is it just your personal preference tuner company?

yeah, i understand that the blitz is better, but with my setup, i want to know if the cheaper vspl is going to be efficient enough, or will it likely be maxed out

well the vspl is good for up to 400hp.

mjj will argue about this until the cow jumps over the moon. Deal with this topic with him on a daily basis.

well, i would rather have the blitz, but if my motor wont notice the difference, then i will save a little cash.
i think this setup will maybe max out with 21 psi at around 350whp?

Blitz piping is alot better than Greddy. greddy youll still need to modify it compared to blitz or HKS where everything will just bolt up. Oh yah when u pick FMIC, make sure its the same as ur engine, not the chassis. Hence redtop...S13 kit not S14 kit.

thats what i thought and then mav (alex) over on fa told someone else that they need to get the fmic for the chasis, and i read that from someone else to.

I chose the Greddy R-spec over the LM.... a little more but a better IC in my opinion.

yes the r-spec is better. but as I said between the two that we were talking about. I went by what 9830 other people said and figured what the hell theres gotta be some truth about it. and its not that much more expensive. but yes we could argue forever. I believe the lm is better, ok maybe it is my opinion. so go with the greddy if you want. it will work.
