I have recently bought one of my childhood dream cars and I'm quickly starting to lose interest in my 3 year project LS S-chassis because I'm dying to mod my Supra. I've gone through hell and back with this car and this is actually quite an emotional post. I will try to get as straight to the point as I can.
Here is the link to my build thread. Its on a local AZ forum I'm on. This thread covers EVERYTHING from the first day I bought the car all stock and automatic, to being swapped and dyno'd. You need to become a member to see it unfortunately, but if you're serious about the car, you would register to see the build thread.

Now, let's get to business and what I'm considering....

1997 240SX SE

https://fueledracing.com/products_detail.php?itemID=293
Suspension
ISIS Coilovers
ISIS Suspension arm package
Poly diff bushings
Welded diff
Factory SE wheels with decent tread
Wiring
Wiring was done by myself and with the help of a certified tech. The harness was COMPLETELY taken apart and cleaned up, which includes removing ALL unnecessary wiring and plugs (Mostly emissions). The end result was a clean and stock looking harness.
Air Conditioning
Completely custom AC lines done by Bryan at AAPAK. Factory 240 condensor, LS1 AC compressor, bracket, and tensioner are used. The issue is that I never got the AC to completely work. It seems I couldn't figure out the wiring for it. A new dryer is used with the LS1 triple pressure sensor.
I tackled the AC during last winter and when it didn't work I gave up on it. Then summer is now here and I bought a Daily with AC. So again, I lost interest in making it work. It seems it is a wiring issue because I got the AC compressor to kick on but it would kick on at the wrong time. On that note, since I never got the AC to work, I don't know if I have a good compressor.
This is what's left to make it work. Figure out the wiring (Efrain at Suspicious can figure it out) and see if you have a good compressor. That's it.
Interior
Completely stock
Pioneer radio and Rockford Fostgate speakers
Ipod/USB/CD
Autometer electric oil pressure gauge
Prosport electric water temp gauge
Full Disclosure
I have ALL documentation of all the parts for this car
Cracked dash (see pictures)
2 dings. One on passenger door, the other on passenger lower quarter panel (see pics)
Missing radio bezel and missing shifter bezel
Speedometer doesn't work (Needs dakota digital converter box)
TINY oil leak from Autometer oil pressure sensor (works but the seal around the sensor leaks)
Heater doesn't work. Hoses are connected.* I don't know why it doesn't work.
Pricing
I'm going to start my asking price at $14,000 OBO. I am not at all in a rush to sell. I have all my receipts totaling over $12,000 not including what I bought the car for. I have never tracked the car and I take meticulous care of it. A typical LS swap costs about 10K, then try finding a chassis in this condition, then add the labor, and bullshit and you have dug yourself in a deeper hole than 14K.
Trades/Part out?
YES, I am open to trades. Worst I can say is no.
I have also contemplated parting out the car. This is what I have in mind...
I will take out the drivetrain (engine and transmission). What's left is a completely ready LS swap chassis. The swap kit will stay, full interior, suspension (will part this IF someone commits to buy the chassis), and everything else mentioned. This will even include the wiring. Source your own tranny and LS motor, drop it in, plug it in, and turn the key to drive.
I will consider to part the LS swap ready chassis for $8,000.

Dyno video and Dyno Graph. 278HP and 318TQ. Don't let the numbers fool you. This is actually VERY good and healthy for my set up. A set of L92 heads, intake, and mild cam would easily push it to mid 400's on both HP and TQ.
