Would it be cheaper and safer to purchase an sr through a shop?
Is Ebay cheaper? Or is an Ebay motor a HORRIBLE idea?

EBay motors aren't a "horrible idea" most are importers similar to places you'd get it locally. However I would try to get it locally because on eBay all the prices are almost 3k shipped, but a good amount of that is shipping. So easier and more inexpensive/ practical to pick one up locally. You can save a grand if not more, and you'll have it right away. Hope this helps

Its always better to buy in person. you can fully inspect the engine.

i have had bad experiences in buying motors and having them shipped, i personally NEVER order offline as i am 2 hours from a trusted importer, but some friends i have done swaps for have tried to order online and its just too complicated, from leaving parts off and having to wait for them to ship the correct part, ecu , ect; then if you get a motor with a blown headgasket (RB20) like i did, its really hard to get them to ship a replacement. And if it comes out of Canada, good luck! its technically out of the country so good luck trying to pursue legal help if you get a bad motor or NO motor.

Im sheer you pay with credit or paypal, They send you a bad motor call them. All money refunded if issues isnt resolved..

Hands down do not buy a motor less its ready to be dropped in and fired up. by everything you need to get it in an running then by the motor so you can use those 30day warranty to see if its a good engine etc.. Be smart about it bud!!

If local's an option, go local. If ordering online, Zerolift.
