I'm doing a battery relocation on my s14
& I ran into this wire not connected to anything. Comes from trunk underneath rear seat & passenger carpet to kick panel
Does anyone know what this is for ? Or where does it originally goes connected to

Looks like it plugs into your tail light harness.

Here's where the other end to the plug is
Seems to be connected to tail light harness

The only things that I remember that go back there are tail lights, brake lights, fuel pump, fuel gauge, rear-defrost, and airbag shit. Most of the airbag shit I remember had similar yellow and white plugs. Could be wrong though as it's been awhile since I gutted the harness and took out the un-needed wires.

Ok so I decided to get a little physical with this cable so I followed it & ended being connected to this
Don't know how important this is but looks like it's for emissions ?
I just removed it since I already did my smog & I got a SR

Hey folks, I know this is a dead thread but does anyone have a good picture of where it connects to in the front?

Better yet, will anything not work if it ISN'T plugged in at the front?
