Alright so I was stripping my interior loom down last night and found this plug taped onto the loom. Looks like it's been blanked from factory. Just wondering if anyone knew what it was for as I'd like to remove it if it isn't doing anything.

I've just had a chance to look at the wiring diagram for the interior loom and it's called a 'joint connector'
So i'm still pretty confused as to what it does and if I can remove it.
The cars a 1997 RHD Sr20det S14a
