Hey guys. When i bought my 240sx i previously owned i got a good deal so i took it. It was bogging when i bought it, when you step on it. Once i got on the high way it was good.

Today i did a compression test because i noticed i was shootin' cool flames here and there between gears and cold start would be a bit wierd for the first few seconds.

cylinder 1: 149 (holds) cyl 2: 140 leaked down to 120 ish stayed there.
cyl 3: 120 leaked down to 60 ish cyl 4 same thing.

The car pulls really hard and feels really healthy through 1-2nd gear most of the times 3rd. But its always bogged when you got into boost in 4th-5th gear high way.

i'm running around 18 lbs. supposibly tuned ecu.

after comp test i drove and it ran like shit. realized i didnt screw a plug in good enough, ran good. re did comp test same results. cruised, ran like shit at first when riding, but when i hit it it pulled good and ran good again.

wtf is up? i wanna keep this thing and dont want to register it unless legit.

supporting mods: t28 turbo, cams, other valvetrain work idk of. fmic, full exhaust, radiator, turbo mani filter, stock turbo manifold. my buddy once told me when i hit it that he saw smoke come out of my exhaust. when i cold start it smokes (seems normal) until it warms up. help pls.

also slides perfect in rain, but on dry in 2nd+ it cuts off. do i need a tune?

well 1: 18lbs is ALOT of boost on stock rings and 2: cyl 3&4 seems like you have bad piston rings due to that 18lbs of boost, 15lbs is pushing your luck without new pistons and rings could have fried em..

How long would you expect it to hold up daily driving beating here and there

if it is your rings not long, that and you'll only do more damage, like scaring your piston walls then you'll need to hone and possibly sleeve it depending on the severity. the most driving i would do on it would be to get it to a shop or home and do some home work or more searching on possible issues. and turn that boost down asap to keep it from completely washing cyl 3 an 4's rings.. also you could have a bad MAF which could cause your bogging intermittently.. but your compression on 3 an 4 is what im curious about.
