sensor ???

i have this sensor hanging out i did the auto to manual swap and i wondering were this one goes

I'm also guessing that the trans you bought is NOT S14.

If I am guessing correctly, which I'm pretty sure that I am, that is your crankshaft sensor. It mounts on the top of the bellhousing on an S14 transmission. If you do not have an S14 transmission, then there is nowhere for it to go. It will throw a check engine light since it's not connected.

Yes the car is a '95, auto, S14.
I swapped the engine from and transmission from 97 and am stuck in the middle of the auto->manual wiring.
I found the correct CAS, its a lot narrower and fits perfectly on the
bell-housing.
This sensor is runs from the back of the fuse box under that one plug that gets spliced together.
I will take more pictures to clear it out.
