Does the SR20 use a timing belt or a timing chain? Where is it located?
Thanks

the timing chain is located behind the dashboard.....
not really it uses a timing chain and it is about 1-2 inches behind the pulleys for the accessories...you cannot see it unless you remove the valve cover...
as far as the layout of the motor....search the site there is a full S14 SR FSM floating around

It happens brother, people like to be what they aren't yet... And some people would make you laugh at their miniscule amount of car knowledge, but make put you in awe with their driving capabilities. I was drifitng my s13 coupe bone stock with the single cam and an ebay intake before i could even tell you where the aiv system was located. But now i have two years of 240 knowledge and a ka swap, and a couple redtop swaps under my belt. Or you could be right. ;-)
