has anyone used a universal winshield moulding on a s14, if so how did it look compared to the factory rubber?

Some people like it better since they look cleaner. But it doesnt have the deflector lip on the sides so if its raining and you have your windows down/cracked, waters going straight into your car.

When I got my windshield replace a year ago, the glass company used a universal seal. It looks like shit and it funnels all the nasty road water grim over then roof. I have to hand wipe off the road water grim off the roof of the car after every car wash making it a pain in the ass.
Go to the dealership and get the factory trim and have them install it.

+1 on the factory trim. I have the universal trim on my windshield. Everytime I compare my car to other 240s, I notice how crappy the universal trim looks. Factory trim makes the car look complete while universal trim will give the appearance of a chunk of glass glued to a chassis.
