hi I was just kinda curious about something..
I just bought a 95 240 with s15 Sr
and I noticed when driving if I get into boost then sometimes when I'm letting off it will pop off its not real bad just a little . So I just wanted to make sure it was normal my wideband reads normal and it runs awesome no smoking or anything I'm just a little paranoid cause I have an s13 Sr broke down in my garage. it has a few upgrades wich should be in my signature it has a Jim wolf flashed ecu.

its a turbo xs bov not recalculated... my other Sr never backfired so I was just making sure. When I had my wrx it did backfire a lot but I was having missfire issues too so just checking... I was told it was something called after burn or something not actually backfiteing

Yeah, it is just extra fuel hitting the hot exhaust. Possible with N/A engines, but a lot more common in cars with forced induction. All that extra air requires extra fuel...let off the gas and that extra gas hits and pop. Quite common and cool. Lol

Recirculate the BOV, and it will fix all backfire and quirk off boost issues.
