These seats are not FIA certified. They are very strong seats, but they have not been tested to meet FIA certifications.

It's not the greatest, but the hole is big enough to where you can kinda see over your shoulders.

The P2 is more like a Recaro Profi SPG. It's a tight fit for a 36" waist. I would suggest the SP2 seat for you.

I would say a 34" waist would be the max for the VS3. You might want to take a look at the P2. The seats come with side brackets.
