sr20det fc Rx7

I have an 86 rx7, the stock 13b motor is toast with 270, 000 miles on it, and rotaries are getting pretty rare, and its expensive for a rebuild, so I'm going to get a jdm sr 20 and put it in. If any one has done the swap and can tell me what intercooler they used, and if my stock rearend will hold up at like 300 horses, I want to use the car for drifting, if anybody has done the swap and could give me a little insight that'd be awesome, I've searched many, many threads, and nobody really goes into detail... any help would be appreciated. Also I wanna do the sr20 cause it will be a whole lot more reliable then the rotary...

Intercooler
My friends just fabbed it all up
Since your putting a non factory engine in a different manufacturers chassis, you should have no issues with fab work

I don't know why he decided to go with a stupid huge intercooler, I asked him and he shrugged and said he thought it looked good in there..

although i do like his radiator. I hate how mine has the stupid long coolant tube running across the top
