Not wanting to pay and not being able to pay are two different things.
If you legitimately can't pay then go to court, plead guilty, and explain your financial situation to the judge. He/she may or may not allow it. They will let you know of different ways you can pay the fines. Paying off $1000 in community service alone is a lot of community service btw.
Reckless driving or DUI? You'll be getting community service regardless probably

true true it also depends upon the judge as well and how he see's your situation. usually if its a traffic violation you can take traffic school. ( but only once every 18 months) community service can be worked out or even a payment plan as well... sadly it can all be affected upon how the judge is feeling that day.

I believe you can fight off some of the charges there in court.. which in turn would reduce the cost aswell as points to your license.
i usually make a letter of declaration which works half the time but you would have to pay up front. Never been to court to fight b/c I usually show up late and cannot make a statement -.-

It's not true. Here is the thing, when you get those tickets for red light camera, go to court, if an actual police officer doesn't show up, case closed you don't pay. If a police officer does show, you can claim some B.S like the cop didn't see the crime himself or some shit like that. Red light cameras can be loopholed easily. Hell you could Easily say YOU WERE NOT DRIVING YOUR CAR AND LET YOUR FRIEND DRIVE IT AT THAT TIME. .can the judge tell if you are lying? does the cop know you are lying? fuck no.
Secondly, If you are under 25 if you are over 25, well good luck but ask for traffic school and community service. I know someone who got out of a 1200$ ticket by doing a mandatory 12 hours of traffic school.
also, Stop drying like a D-bag.
