They were stolen from the car as it was in the hands of a shop?

Yes and the shop refused to take any responsibility.

Not to be a dick but at least they weren't expensive wheels. Shitty that the shop won't refund you...

Talk to a lawyer maybe it will scare them to pay you for them.

People stealing cheap parts these days? That sucks. Keep a look out at your local drift event.

And about the shop not taking responsibility, is there any paperwork involved? If so, see if they have the clause in the paperwork that defines who is responsible for any damages/stolen parts.

Good luck, OP.

Ya, it might be different down there but here if ANYTHING is stolen/missing when a car is in the hands of a shop they are responsible. Think about it, thats a fucking dumb idea if they don't take responsibility....basically they could be the ones taking parts ya know.

shouldn't the shop have insurance to file a claim?

To me looks like a cover up and the shop or one of the employee might have done it. Plus they refused to take responsibility which makes it even more suspecious that he didnt even tried to help/file a insurance claim. But not giving up just yet, im just getting prepared on how is going to go down. Thanks for anyone showing support.

either the shop doesn't have insurance/its lapsed or they have really terrible policy and will get dropped for making the claim. that or some shady shit is going on with their employees. its their responsibility while its at their shop unless you signed some sort of paperwork that said otherwise which is stupid; i'd lawyer up bro.

If you need a good lawyer, hit me up. I have a lawyer that will most likely look for a loop hole especially if you have paper work...

Why offer a $1k reward for some cheap ass wheels and a $150 grip royal?

Just buy new shit and learn to work on your own car?

if you must know its a crime line that offers that, not me. Also i put the car together from a bare metal shell. The car was at the shop was for wiring problems. Keep it yourself next time.

Keep us posted. I am very interested to see where this goes. I only have so much interest because I myself work at a shop and I know that if something happens to a customers car while its in our possession, whether its damage or theft, we make it right no questions asked. Any shop who doesnt do that is pretty clearly using it as a front for stealing peoples shit!

talked to the lawyer. Now sending a letter demanding to pay me for damage and stolen parts. If the shop refuses again, next step would be court.

I hope you didn't have any friends at that shop though, because you wont any longer.

Edit:If you still had them after this anyway :P

They aren't friends if they are stealing shit or refusing to help.

The third vert i seen, including mine, on g6 wheels. WTF im about to get rid of em, but good luck getting something from the shop. Hopefully they just wind up paying you the cost of all the items without having to go to court (court fees and waste of time)

Dude everyone has these because they're cheap, and fit stock body cars awesome. Paint them if you wanna be different. Better yet, buy better wheels.

OP, good for you taking those guys to court. In all honesty, I don't know why the hell that shop wouldn't have cameras considering thieves these days. Hope you get your money and then some back.

UPDATE: the cops havent found or/ done anything imho. My lawyer send the shop owner a letter demanding to pay me for my loses and he was not tried to contact me or lawyer about the issue. I will be seen him in court after 30 days of received the letter. I just dont understand why people do this. Also they fucked up my gas thats where they jacked the car up and then slammed in the ground.

Sounds like shop is BS. had my car at a shop before and someone backed into it, they called and made everything right. Guess depends on what kinda shop you deal with
