The bad: There is a small oil leak on the rear main seal but the leak is pretty negligable. The A/C needs a recharge. There is a leak in the exhaust manifold, possible a crack or a loose bolt. BTW the only problem that this creates is an audible ticking sound (which I described in an earlier post).

The good: Runs well, everything feels good, car is very smooth even at 90mph. Has new shocks and new tie rods.

The best: Final purchase price was 1850 and the service manager at my dealership didn't charge me for a compression check with full inspection...

The iffy: The compression numbers are Cylinder
1: 150 2: 130 3. 130 5. 150

Please let me know how good the compression is for a 90 with 175k or a s13 for that matter.

Besides that everything is good, I cleaned up the car and cleaned up the engine bay.....she is stock for now but you know how that goes, heheeheh...Paint is definetely original if you are wondering...

On to the pics, let me know what you think....
p.s. The red Z in the back is mine...

very nice! those compressiopn numbers are low. I believe something like 155-175psi is normal. You should get a leak down test, and see where the air is escaping. then you can find what is causing the low compression #'s.

Where you planning to swap?

for S13...

89-90 240sx=ZENKI
91-94=CHUKI
94+ (only in Japan) =KOUKI

zenki means early model
chuki, mid model
kouki, late model

it's how the Japanese identify cars and body parts. Like twitchy has a chuki 240. They would call his bumper a chuki bumper.

that's all.

Actually, I think the Chuki-style was until 96.. From 97-98 they had the newer 180SX Kouki with the new front bumper and body kit.

They did have the S13 SR20DET change to blacktop in 94+ but the body style stayed the Chuki until 96.

I know because I've seen plenty of Chuki blacktop front clips in the US... but 180SX Kouki front clips are more rare esp. if the front bumper is still intact. People usually buy the bumpers before they get shipped to the US.
