are you only supposed to use aluminum pipe for the i/c piping? :bash:

you can use mild steel, just coat it so it dosent rust

you can also use Stainless steel. Hey 96wofourty, what do you coat mild steel with to make it not rust on the inside?

mine rust a bit on the inside using mild steel....u need to coat it. when driving in the rain the water will get on the pipes and rust them and condinsation builds up in the pipe from the hot air cooling down in the pipes. i coated them with high temp paint..inside and outside. may not be the best choice but it gets the job done

I've seen someone use titanium before... a ton of cuts and welds for the corners though.. :)

i think ill stick to aluminum, but its hard to find a 3 foot piece thats 2.5in and sch 40

all u need is 3 2.5" u bends and 1 2.25" u bend
