I have a dual cam KA all stock, just put in a fresh clutch disc, pressure plate, throw out bearing, slave cyl, clutch line, and master, so all of that stuff is brand new. When I start the car cold and push the clutch in it makes a swirling light metal to metal rubbing noise, if I let the clutch out noise goes away, so the noise only ever occurs when I push the clutch all the way to the floor, but it's a little strange because sometimes it won't make the noise until I put it in gear, other times I can pump the clutch a few times until it makes the noise and it will continue making the noise until I lift the clutch off the floor. Once i have it in gear and start to move and i let the clutch out the noise stops. Another weird thing is the closer the engine gets to operating temperature the less frequent the noise happens, and once it is at operating temperature It won't make the noise at all. The clutch operates perfectly, I have zero issues other than this sound.
Now my question (besides wtf is the noise) is will this get worse or cause complications in the future or both or is this something I shouldn't worry about?
First thing I thought was the throw out bearing but the throw out bearing is brand new and the noise seems to be operating temp. dependant which makes no sense to me, anyway if you guys have any ideas as to what this phantom noise could be please let me know, thank you in advance
