ok so im looking to let my cherokee go. i have 2 jeeps already and want to get back into another 240. this is a clean truck with alot of potential, it does have a few issues but is not some horror story. im a mechanic and have maintained as well as looked over this entire jeep and its a good start. its been valued at about 3k from the offers i have gotten. but like i said im looking for another 240sx. idc if its stock.
the jeep is a 1995 jeep cherokee sport RARE 2dr 5-spd:
-4.0l high output w/117k runs and drives AMAZING. is my dd.
-ax15 trans w/new clutch and flywheel
-nv231 transfer case
-dana 30 front axle
-chrysler 8.25 rear axle
-new alternator
-new thermostat
-new water pump
-brand new budget 2'' lift 2" rear skyjacker shackles and front spacers
-new skyjacker hydro7000 shocks
-american racing atx mojave wheels et-15
-cooper stt 31x10.50-15 tires
-gutted interior and raptor lined with heavy duty floor mats
-entire frame has been por15 rust proofed and line-ex'ed
the bad:
trucks gauges(odo and speedo) just stopped working. they do function but come on then off. probably a bad ground.
- rear hatch dosent open unless u open the latch manually. i was waiting to find a wrecked cherokee with the same color hatch to replace.
-patched floorpans. the job looks decent. used 20ga steel and replaced old rusted pans. pic below.
- needs rear brake shoes soon. will replace in a week.
like i said the truck isnt perfect but is a great start, it runs and drives perfect and strong everyday. im not here to rip anyone off, just seeing if anyone would like to trade a 240 for an excellent trail rig jeep. !
