This is now just for people in oc. If other counties pop up we will try and work something out to meet up if we are passing by on the same freeway.

This will be all cars welcome seeing as how formula D is of all makes now days.

We will only be meeting up for the main event on Saturday.

The best way to make this work is to make a list so people see that there will be more than two cars there.

Last year people meet up close by in long beach so maybe something like that will happen.

I always go on Friday, don't see how I waste my time. Get to chatted up with the drivers, my lil' boy gets to sit inside the cars in the event, meet with vendors , and of course I get to miss work as I count it as a business "meeting" lol

The 12th is worth going to but its not worth setting up a caravan two days in a row. Not as many people will go the 1st day because its a Friday and some people still work.

As for what times we meet up I can not say until formula d puts up the hourly schedule.

If you guys don't have your tickets yet you should buy them now. Tickets are selling outing faster this year and waiting in line to get tickets there sucks.

On Friday which is qualifying and practice, you are free to sit anywhere in the grand stands since it is not crowded. On Saturday, you do have to sit on the assigned seats since it gets really crowded. This year we opted to get the VIP since we always take forever to get our food on the main event because of the amount of people in line at every single food stand. Should be fun....

A lot if time they don't pop up until like 3 days before. That's why I was trying to get it started earlier so it wasn't such a mess but its not looking good so far.

Well there's a few entrances and exits to the garage. Last year I took my lowered s13 and didn't have any problems but I wasn't slammed. I did however caravan with a few slammed cars and non of them complained. I've only owned one slammed car and I knew that if I scraped then I scraped. Every time I put something together there's always people worried about how to not scrape their cars. How do you guys live day to day? My slammed car would scrape just driving down a slightly bumpy road. I even and a front lip in the car and no power steering and I never worried about scraping because I would just go sideways over a bump or incline.

Oh well if you get there early then there will be parking in the parking structure. I'm sure it fills up fast though. I've never had trouble finding parking and I've been going for years. I think getting there early is the key. If you go with the caravan you'll have parking for sure.
There's probably no parking because people like us not carpooling so that we can drive our own car there in the caravan.

First those two guys got pulled over on the way there, then my friend got a ticket for running a red light as we were leaving, bullshit ticket cause he was already in the intersection waiting to turn, but the cops were out of ref things so they couldnt give him a ticket for anything modified lol. Fun day!

I had a Vegas trip planed that got canceled and this was a last minute thing. I did look around and saw by the firestone bridge that there was a sweet set up with servers and stuff there. Is that where you were seated? That was PIMP! CPK line was ridiculous.....well all the lines were. What FRS section?

Non the less wife and kid had fun for a few hours walking around looking at the cars in the pits and the car show. The RC cars were my sons favorite he always wanted to go back.:hs:

Gotcha. We were seated (looking up at the bridge from the vendor side) on the left. They did have like a buffet and servers.

The scion/FR-s section was coming down the bridge on the slam society show side, to the right. They had burgers, hot dogs open bar all the good stuff.

My little boy wouldn't wanna leave the RC booth area and I gave in to buying the E10 Yoshihara RC car lol. What can you say when your 5 yr old says he wants to start practicing drifting in an RC first lol.

I'm glad you'll have fun. Will be looking for them VIP seats at Irwindale :-)

Seating was terrible I guess the event for the city of long beach/formula D became a money making business. They over sold waaaay to many tickets, and I'm a promoter I just couldn't believe it , Long beach for me hopefully never again, irwindale yes seating its massive there. Way better venue.

Parking for 10$ yes! The booths and slammed society were great too!!
