Suspension phase 1 (TEIN HE, ruca's, t/c rods) is completed now, this summer phase 2 will be underway, which includes wheels, tires, rear toe links, and inner/outer tie rods.

thats why they make mechanic gloves, go invest in a good pair. cheaper than going to the hospital for such a lame reason. now if your fists got like that because you forgot a hammer and needed to beat something into place, then that would be a diferent story =)

nothin like busted knuckles. Its one of the great rewards of doing your own work. I expect to bust a knuckle or gash up my hands when ever I do susp work, it just happens, gloves do wonders though.

Same here... It's been deemed impossible to work on any suspension parts and not cut myself at least once.

That shit is weak. Stitches?!! Stitches are for pussies. Put some old school bactine or hydrogen peroxide on it and a bandaid. And walk it off!!!

Hehe. The wrench slipped when I was trying to get off a bolt (damn those things are on there tight) and it cut on the brake dust/heat sheild thing. I just went AHHH and looked at it, no blood for like 5 seconds, walked over to my friend. By the time I got to him, all the sudden blood was going everywhere... I just kneeled down and told him to go inside and get me a rag or something. He comes out with a rag and a camera haha. At first all the adrenaline made it not so bad, but a few minutes later trying to clean it a little I almost fainted like the pussy that I am, and he said I should get stitches (I was skeptical too, I hate doctors). Oh well... I had to get the stitches because it's on the kunckle, and w/out them, it would just reopen every time I bent my finger.
You almost fainted? hehe
How do you people cut yourself so much? The suspention was easy to do... I just ware thin rubber gloves so i dont get dirty.

Why didn't you use a cheater bar so your hands aren't anywhere near the things that are going to cut you?

As soon as I'm out of college and buy a house, I'm literally building a garage with a massive lift, multiple air line sockets, etc. It will rule.

just a tip for people who do that shit on their finger, and dont want to go to the hospital. or cant. just put some gauze on it, put some tape or something to hold the gauze, then put a little finger splint or something to hold ur finger straight...keep it like that for a day and it should seal on its on. i cut through my fucking thumb at work, got the suggestion from a coworker...worked like a charm.
oh, and you are a fool for sitting there and letting it bleed to take a pic.

in a pinch superglue works too :tweak:

superglue owns. so does liquid bandage (same thing AFAICT). Just make sure you clean it first or it will get infected and puss makes the ladies run away screaming.

Battleversion. Got their t/c rods too. I'm gonna use TEIN tie rods prolly, and BV toe links I think.
Sorry for turning this into a suspension thread rather than a "you're a stich havin bitch" thread.
What's your ride height set @? front vs rear? Is this setup for grip? I'm currently running the same camber in the front(-2.0), with .09 toe out per side. I'm waiting for my Tein tie rods so i can install my SPL Pro RUCAs with the SPL t/c rods and Nismo Powerbrace all at the same time. The only thing is i wanna set my rear camber @ -1.0 in the rear. will this make a big difference vs -1.5? This will be for drifting on the track mostly as i will soon stop driving my car on the streets.
