Hey guys, just came across these pics of my last 240sx, a 92 LE fastback from Canada. . thought I'd share 'em. .
These are some older pics. . minor interior appearance changes only (changed to red needles, and painted the gauge bezel surround thingy to match the gunmetal paint on the console, and replaced the plastic around the radio and hvac with a new one, but still same color hehe) Anyway. . here they are. .
Gawd I miss my HICAS! hehe

Yeah...Rob is the whitest asian guy you'll ever meet. HAHA That car was in good shape for as many miles as it had on it. And it was Canadian too, so DTRL, no auto seat belts, and HICAS! WOOHOO! We need to figure out some #### way of getting HICAS on our S14's like it should be! That '92 was nimble as ####...he tossed the thing all over the place. Well, he does that with the S14 too, so I don't know if that counts.

A waste of space..... ummmm I mean rear wheel steering, in turns it turns the rear wheels like up to 2 degrees.

Yes, it helps you slam into walls at medium speed in turns. It also prevents drifting...

I don't get what people have against HICAS...I drove his car and it handled awesome. It's always the same...People who have never driven a car with HICAS always trash talk it, and people who have driven a car with HICAS say it's awesome...WTF? I don't know about 300Z's using it, but the S13 HB's were sweet...

Prevents drifting? lol
If anything, it helped.
I miss HICAS. . it was awesome. . best handling car I've ever owned. . I'd be lucky to get my S14 to handle as well as that S13 did stock.

People that don't like Hicas don't have it or never had it, I guess. . I notice this trend.

Why don't I like it? Really I have nothing against it, but it's pointless wieght that I would rather not have on my car (yes I have driven HICAS powered cars) It is mainly there to make the average joe driver think they are cornering better, after a certain point the HICAS is obsolete and you would be better off with out it

Well I am the average joe. . sooooo. . I prefer it.
Don't know about track cars, I don't want a car that's only meant for the track. . for the roads, at least around here, I LOVED the HICAS. . kill to have that again. .
but. . as they say. . to each his own hehe
