Hello all,
I just picked up this car a few weeks back and drove it all the way from Atlanta to KY, and it drove like a champ. Soon after getting it home and getting the clear title in my name, low and behold i found another car i want to move on. I am going to list the same ad the previous owner had as some people were interested. Text me at 502-229-one 3 two seven.
I am going to ask $10,000 for the car. I am willing to throw in an extra LS1 block that is at the machine shop as i type. EXTRA FRESH SHORTBLOCK
1978 280z third owner vehicle. Always been garage kept since ownership and the body and limited rust speaks to that. Only rust being minor surface rust from chips in the paint allowing minimal surface rust in some of the body panels.
As for the body it is a straight no accident and stock line Datsun. No flares, Gnose, etc.
Mods to the S30 chassis are as follows:
6 point autopower roll cage
Eibach lowering springs
Tokico HP struts
Techno Toy Tuning tension rods
Cusco front strut brace
MSA rear strut brace
MSA front lip/Air dam
240z style fiberglass bumpers (both front and rear)
Konig rewind wheels, with fairly new toyo proxes tires.
This particular S30 has a LS1 swap with a T56 6spd trans as well. Engine was rebuilt, built and freshened end of 2011 and has seen roughly 10k miles since.
Mods to the engine are as follows:
Custom built Cam (do not have lift or duration specs)
LS6 intake manifold
Titanium push rods
Comp valve springs, seats, retainers
shorty headers
custom single exit exhaust
brand new 28ln injectors
aftermarket fuel rail
Aeromotive three port FPR
On a very conservative tune the car made 355hp to the wheels. Since then I have yet to try and push my tuner to make more out of the engine as it has more to go. Just never saw the need as the car weighs under 2800lbs is plenty fast enough.
I have plenty of upgrade parts for the car as well. STI diff to handle more power and better lap times at the track. Huge Radiator and SPAL fan, Defi oil temp, oil pressure, coolant temp and EGT gauges and all sensors and a few others that all can be worked out in the trade or sale.
