Ok, i think we finally found a decent wheel i like, they are the 1998 mustang cobra wheels, im gonna get them new from tirerack for 150 a peice98 COBRA WHEELS!! (http://www.tirerack.com/servlet/CallJsp?target=wheelSearchCloseUp&wheelIndex=25&sizeIndex=0&showRear=no&setIndex=7&filterSize=&filterFinish=&filterSpecial=) , so thats not bad.....i know BADMoJo has them on his car but its an s14, what would be the biggest tire i could fit on them on my s13?, im not gonna do neg. camber or anything, im thinking 245/40/17? Second question is, what are your guys fav. tires.... i want grip put i also want some wet traction too, i live in a very temperate area:) Any one ever tried TOYO PROXES T1-S's? TOYO"S (http://www.ltbmotorsport.com/toyoproxest1s.html) they look aggresive and i am a toyo fan....im just wondering if anyone has experienced them
thanks and sorry for the long post

I'm betting you'd have clearance issues with 245's on those wheels in the front on your s13.

If you haven't bought those wheels yet, order them from Summit Racing (http://www.summitracing.com) for $126 each, plus free shipping! As far as tires go, try a set of 245/45/17 Falken Azenis Sports for some really good grip.

I don't know about tire sizes but as far as the best tires check this out Tires ... which ones are best ??? (http://forums.freshalloy.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=UBB20&Number=343811&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1)
I wish tirerack sold Falkens...I'd like to see how they rate.

I didn't think the hubcentric ring on the mustang wheels worked with our 240's.
600 for 17's, man, i might have to get a set. what are the widths and offsets?

im running 235/40-17 on my 17x8 FN01R-Cs 35mm offset with not problems. unless you have coilovers you shouldnt have a problem with those wheels. just remember that just because the tires are wider it doesnt neccessarly mean they have more grip.

if you want 245s in back, and are willing to stagger, I'd say go 225/45 up front and a 245/40 in back. I dont *think* you'll have any problems with that. good luck. im sure someone can give u much more solid info.
