Hey guys, I have a s13 coupe and want to start up some meets in the I.E. Also would like to get a hub of good guys together so we can help each other with projects on are cars.


I will be doing a 5 speed swap soon on my coupe, and would like some local help.

parts I have now

5speed trans, shifter trim/ metal bracket and rubber shift boot.

If you have anything I could buy off you to complete my swap let me know or if you can help with the install let me know. Ill provide the lift and tools you provided a couple hands and knowledge then after we can cruise.

Ok you guys here is the deal, the meet will be Wednesday night in front of the Subway off of Day creek and the 210. I know a couple of the guys that go and they are really laid back. Meet starts at 8:30 and I will be out there in my silvia coupe.

I didn't half ass just never actually use a torque wrench all the times I had to change a clutch I always just use my half inch wrench and my braker bar to hold the crank and never had a problem... I guess that's how u learn I'll always use the torque wrench lol...

hello. Im Jason. Im somewhat near by you (57/60) I would be happy to help you learn what I know...mostly mechanical knowledge not much technological. I have had just this one 240 for the past 11 years and have torn it apart a couple times. I got my swap done by aerodyne back in 2002. Let me know if you want any help with anything and if you ever just wanna help me...I always got something that needs to be done on this car. Ill be pulling the powersteering soon, replacing some bushings, and bleeding my brakes.

that friday meet was mainly a honda fest but ther was some other kind of cars such as a blubird 510 four door, some evos, a freaking toyota crown (super rare) and old celica a ae86 a couple others i can't remember...2 cops did show up but only told everyone that they were there just to keep things under control. they didn't pull no one over, didn't ask to pop hoods, nor was there a checkpoint. after about an hour they left and just told us to have fun and keep it under control. there was about 4 other 240 (s13) i was the only s14 there

And not mid week , most weekend meets I've been to , cherry/baseline, peppers/San bernardino ave even the 626 meet have a lot of cop action just being the weekend ?
