I (believe) I have a S14a KA24DE, Not really sure how to tell the year of the motor. My original motor was a 1990 SOHC KA. I am running a DOHC S13 Dizzy, ECU, Harness, Coil. I am getting NO SPARK to the plugs. Ive Swapped out ICMs and Distributors, and Coils, changed up to new plugs wires, rotor and cap. Still nothing. Im at a loss here.

Nope, car was always a 5 speed as long as Ive had it. (6 years +)

The Single Cam blew the connecting rod outta the drivers side of cylinder 1 on the highway at about 45 MPH and thats why I swapped it. 212k miles, she lasted pretty long.

You can tell if its S14 or S13 depending on the amount of bolts between the spark plugs on the valve cover. Three bolts on the S13 and two on the S14. Are you getting power to the coil? Get a multimeter and work your way down from the harness to the ignitor/coil to the dizzy then plugs to find out where the power stops.

I know the motors out of an S14, but OBD1 and OBD2 depend on WHICH S14 (Zenki/Kouki). Am I correct on this?

No, you can still have an OBD2 Zenki. It's only the 1995 240sx/Zenki that came OBD1 depending on production date.

well i thought that might narrow this down, but i suppose thats a big f.u. from it to me as well lol hmmm. i really wanna get this car running, ive had it for 6+ years, its gotten me safe thru 2 accidents and the frame is still good and solid. I only want it as a track car. I have a T28 turbo and full fmic for it. if i cant get it running im thinking about selling or trading for a V8. as much as i hate to do it, i can understand them because they are simpler for me. like i said tho...i really want this to work.

i was thinking O2 sensor...im runing the same one from my single slammer...it fits and all...but that wouldnt stop spark from getting to the plugs.

Assuming everything you replaced is working (ICM, wires, dizzy, etc), the only possible fault areas left would be the harness, ECU or grounds. Seriously. Check your ECU, harness, and grounds. Do it right now. Swap the ECU for a known good one, and check the harness / grounds for continuity with a multimeter. Do it.
